My hands are open…
In 2002 I started massage school and was the oldest student in that class. Several night a week I left work and drove a half hour to attend class and also on one Saturday a month. This went on until graduation in the Fall of 2003. And it was awesome! I learned so much and loved giving massage as well as being on the table while someone else practiced on me.
The best part was when I had to get so many practice clinic sessions in by the last quarter of class and you would think that all that time would have tired me out but you get as well as give when you do massage and I felt re-energized after doing sessions.
I then started a part-time practice in my house. I setup a massage room for evening appointments. That time in the room working on my clients with soft music playing calmed and re-energized me from busy day at my regular job. When I practiced massage, one of the things I learned and loved was creating and holding space for my clients to let go and breathe and relax. This was for me a practice that was close to my heart. I did this with my hands working on their body and easing tired, cramped muscles.
I ended up having my kids move back home and my massage room turned back to a bedroom and now even though kids are gone my heart is not in restarting a massage practice as the lapse has been too long.
What I have envisioned for Ritual Waters is to offer though my products and my hands a way to hold space for you my customers. I hope you will take the time to shut your door on the outside for a bit and run some bath water and relax and recharge and most of all to just breathe and let go.
My hands are open ~ we are here to offer you space and products to enjoy in that space.
