What I Learned from This 30 Day Blog Challenge
Another 30 Day Blog Challenge has come and gone and it amazed me how quickly these 30 days have passed. I feel I have learned several things over the past month. These I am taking with me as continue to blog on this site more regularly.
One big issue I have had with previous challenges is not planning what and how I will write. This made the process painful when I was trying to come with a topic to write on. This time I setup what days I would write on what topic. Doing this helped me stay focused and made the choice of topics much easier. Like smacking myself in the head and saying ” I should have had a V-8″. Realizations can come about like lightning or like a smack in the head. But heh, I got it. 🙂
I am amazed how sharing posts across FB – twitter – Instagram can increase followers to one’s brand. I saw how my numbers went up over the course of this month’s challenge.
Participating in any challenge is always you pushing your envelope and getting out of your comfort zone. This is always risky and a bit nerve wracking. But finishing the challenge whether or not you completed all the steps feels so awesome. That feeling of you did it ~ you tried and put yourself out there. That is the best feeling in the world.
The flip side of the coin is supporting and uplifting the others in the challenge with you. Reading the wonderful words that they wrote and shared. What you learned from them and what you in turn shared of yourself. This give and take is what it’s all about.
Lastly, this writing that I have been doing over the past month has honed my skills a bit more. I find I really do enjoy it and want to write more consistently here on this page. I know there are many things I want to share with you my readers as you are the reason I am here.
What things stress you out and invade your space so that you cannot settle into yourself and relax?
