Buttermilk you say, why buttermilk? Many people have asked do I have any goat's milk soap and my answer has always been no.
But I do have buttermilk in some soaps. This one and my Oatmeal Milk & Honey Soap.
But why buttermilk?
My parents were from Germany making me a first-generation German. I grew up with my Father always drinking buttermilk and this reminds me of him which is why I chose it.
It is thick milk and has a lot of butterfat in it and makes a rich creamy lather.
Earthy Patchouli and Sweet Orange create a refreshing scent in this soap. If you thought you did not like Patchouli -try this one! The Orange brightens the rich scent of Patchouli so you will fall in love with it again.
This is one of my favorite scents which I am sure you will enjoy!

For me, a clean fresh green scent would be what I would breathe in first. Notes of Bergamot, Cypress, Lavender, Musk and Cedarwood. A woodsy, herbaceous blend that welcomes to dive into the waters.

Spring for me is that time of year when the earth is bursting with new beginnings and lots of growth and energy. I feel that the earth is really juicy at this time – just filled with that crisp energy that holds lots of promise for the year.
I felt that Pink Grapefruit holds that succulent and juicy feel which I why I created this soap. I added a hint of Patchouli for the earthiness from which new growth starts from and citrusy Litsea Cubea that holds the Pink Grapefruit firmly in place.
