Please note this scent does not smell like roses. The main scent is Rosewood. I had made this blend many years ago and it was time to remake it. I had been holding onto this Essential Oil for a long time. This oil is made from the actual Rosewood tree which has been used for many years to make furniture. This has led to it becoming an endangered species like sandalwood. This is also why I do not make Sandalwood Soap. I wanted to share this with you before my oil has become too old to use. So to give you a hint of what the scent smells like - Rosewood has a sweet woody floral aroma. Ginger adds a spice sharpness bite and palmarosa rounds the formula with a sweet rosy essence. The reason for the increased pricing is due to Rosewood Essential Oil. Try it and you might love this sweet woody, spicy and floral scent.Add to cart
The myth has spread that Ernest Hemmingway's favorite drink was the Mojito which he was to have drunk at La Bodeguita del Medio in Havana, Cuba. But apparently this was not true. Nevertheless, the combination of Lime and Spearmint makes for a wonderful scent for a bar of soap. You can pretend that you have a frosty cool drink this summer while you take your shower or bath and get ready to meet the day. So why not try a bar or give it to your favorite guy? Alcohol content will not cause drowsiness or affect driving or operating heavy machinery. Now, here is a link to one Mojito recipe for this drink just in case you needed one. Enjoy!Add to cart
Buttermilk you say, why buttermilk? Many people have asked do I have any goats milk soap and my answer has been no. But I do have buttermilk in some soaps. This one and my Oatmeal Milk & Honey Soap. But why buttermilk? My parents are from Germany making me first generation. I grew up with my Father always drinking buttermilk and this reminds me of him which is why I chose it. It is a thick milk and had allot of butterfat in it and makes a rich creamy lather. Earthy Patchouli and Sweet Orange create a refreshing scent in this soap. If you thought you did not like Patchouli -try this one! The Orange brightens the rich scent of Patchouli so you will fall in love with it again. This is one of my favorite scents which I am sure you will enjoy! Bars are on the curing rack and will be available to ship 10/5Add to cart
A wonderful soft floral scent of peony mixed with lemon, bergamot and other floral scents. This is one springtime scent that reminds me of my Dad growing up. His garden besides of course the yearly vegetables of tomatoes, corn. lettuce and the others added to the list also had many Irises, Glads, Roses and of course Peonies. Enjoy this spring scent and breathe it in.Add to cart
