Rituals
Are you grounded and in your own skin?
And you are looking at that and asking yourself what sort of question is that and what the heck does that mean?
There has been the basic definition of what grounded means the “basic training or instruction on a subject”.
In these times of having a “squirrel or monkey mind” where everyday tasks and work and stress seem to bombard us from all directions, distract us from ourselves and who we are. Trying to multitask and juggle all the balls and keeping all the plates spinning can overwhelm us. We manage careers, homes and families. And last but not least, we try to find some time for ourselves when we feel we are at the bottom of that list.
Today the talk of being grounded has a different meaning.
Grounded means being present, centered and balanced in your own body. Being connected to the earth with feet firmly planted. Reining in all the pieces pulling you in all directions so you can find the balance to deal with things from your center inside of being on the merry-go-round. Having that solid center of you and starting there can help you deal with the spinning.
You can take a break from your day and take a breather. Go to a quiet place and shut a door if you can. Sit in a chair and get comfortable and have your feet firmly planted on the ground. Close your eyes and take several deep slow breaths. Imagine a silken cord, silver or gold or whatever color appeals to you, coming down from the top of your head and down through your body. Slow yourself down and imagine that cord sinking down into the earth through soil and rock until it reaches the earth’s core. Now hook yourself into the center of earth and feel yourself anchored there, balanced and connected.
You can also imagine yourself growing roots like a tree. Your roots are snaking all the way down to the earth’s core. They hold you steadfast and rooted to the earth no matter when winds blow and bend you in any direction.
Just as that tree remains unwavering, you in your center can remain still when all of life blows around you. You are in your own skin and centered.
Another place to get centered is in a warm bath. Fill the tub – light a candle and click here for a grounding scent with some earthiness ~ Orange Patchouli Soap

I have been trying to order the healing salve but once I get to putting in the state, it keeps going off. Can you help me out with this issue. If it’s easier, can you call me, then I can just order it over the phone. Thanks.
