Nuturing Creativity & Artists…..
I came across this talk by Elizabeth Gilbert who wrote the fantastic book “Eat, Pray, Love” and I think it ties in very well with Julia Cameron’s book “The Artist’s Way”. She talks about how the idea of artist’s “being” genius has hurt us rather than the idea of “having” genius as in having a muse. She comments on showing up as her doing her part and the muse/genius showing up and doing their part. A really great talk and a look into the person of Elizabeth and writers.
How do you nurture your creativity and show up to work at creating ?
Yes, I love this TED talk, too, Marilyn. Elizabeth Gilbert is an eloquent speaker, warm and witty. Ole to you for posting this.
